Sustainablility

Environmental sustainability is a core value of our company

We aim to be leaders in our industry in showing other companies that quality landscaping services does not have to result in high carbon emissions.  We offer our customers and employees the peace of mind that comes with knowing that our services are delivered with a lower carbon footprint.  Currently, we are working towards a zero-carbon-emission landscaping service and we power our equipment with a mix of batteries, gasoline and alkalyte fuels (Aspen 2).  We use Aspen fuels in all of our 2-stroke engines because it is a cleaner burning fuel, with lower carbon emissions and increased employee safety.  Aspen 2 uses a fully synthetic and biodegradable oil.  This fuel is helping us to invest and power our transition to a fully-electric landscaping service, including an electric vehicle that will help to charge the tools in the field.  We are patiently waiting for our backordered electric truck to be manufactured and our plan is to be fully electric by 2027 or sooner.

Integrated Pest Management (IPM)

We are trained in IPM, which is a method to reduce the need for fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides.  It usually starts with "planting the right plant in the right place" and cultivating the optimal growing conditions for the desired plant so that it can flourish.  Our trained experts can provide environmentally-sustainable solutions to issues affecting plant health.   We use our training and experience to provide help with installations that will protect our client's investment and help to cultivate the desired plant health over the long term.  Installing plants in the optimal conditions for growth achieves the desired aesthetic and saves our customers money in the months and years that follow.
